The Nintendo DS Lite is a slimmer, lighter version of the Nintendo DS. It features all of the DS’s dual-screen gaming capabilities at a fraction of the size with a 42% smaller volume and 21% lighter weight. New improvements include brighter screens with four levels of brightness to increase battery efficiency, new control layouts for better ease of use, larger stylus with new sideways storage location, more durable touch screen, and relocated microphone and power buttons. Like the original Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS Lite is backwards compatible with all Game Boy Advance cartridges.
